| Crazy day |
[Jul. 24th, 2004|09:19 pm] |
|
Today I went to work at 1:30. My boss wouldn't give me off for my cousin's wedding, which is next Saturday. Saturday is a pretty important day for Rite Aid, it's Truck Day. All the deliveries come in and everything and he said I had to be there. He said the only way I can go to the wedding was if I come in at 4:00 am to work then leave at 8:00 am, and then come back after the wedding. The wedding is in Philly and I'll be dead tired, especially traveling to Philly is 2 hours each way. And I told him I'm only 18 and underpaid and why should I come in at 4:00 am? It's the manager's job to go and do truck, not mine. And then I really got mad because he's like, "You either follow my schedule, or...." Then I didn't let him finish his sentence and I shook his hand and said, "It was nice working for you, I quit." My mom was pretty disappointed because I quit, but my dad was so proud of me. My dad was like, "Good for you son." He doesn't care about money...it's all about the principles... My dad is planning to write or call the district manager himself and complain about my boss. Throughout the day, I kinda felt sad because I know I won't make anymore money...But at the same time, I'm proud for standing up to him. It's all about the damn PRINCIPLES. |

| Goodbye, Mr. Olsen |
[Jul. 23rd, 2004|12:37 pm] |
I just read Jackie's and Moe's LJ post and I was brought to tears. I really can't believe Mr. Olsen passed away. I had the honor in being in his US History II Honors class, and I will never forget him. I, in a way, relate to Moe because Moe always used to crack jokes in class and would get yelled at. Yeah, and as Moe said, "I hope he didn't take it to the heart." For all the things I did in his class, I truly regret. I called Chris this morning to make sure that the news I received was true. Well, Ms. Kohler picked up and explained to me the significance of life. We all knew he had pancreatic cancer and we all knew he would not live long. Through medication and treatment, his health improved, but he passed on yesterday afternoon. I really can't believe it... He was such a good man. I will never forget him... Farewell Mr. Olsen. You were the best history teacher I ever had.

| Long Day... |
[Jun. 30th, 2004|11:31 pm] |
Today some workers came to my house to do some remodeling. My dad told me to go in the attic to get something so I went. I was only supposed to walk on the beams, but instead I accidently put one foot on the little cotton insulation things and my foot went right through the ceiling. There was a big hole in the ceiling but luckily the workers were there to fix it. I have a little scrape , but Thank God nothing serious happened. I went to CVS to get my pictures from Project Grad and I will post them tomorrow. The cameras they gave us really sucked because only 4 pictures came out well from that roll. I think the best picture was one with Chris, Stan, and me....That picture is so cute! Not to be gay or anything..Hehe...

| Who are your real friends? |
[Jun. 29th, 2004|01:15 pm] |
|
Well, this entry was inspired by a conversation with Jackie. Who are our real friends? Recent events have shocked me and baffled me. Two parties that were held by my so-called "real" friends, who will remain nameless, went on, without me getting invited. What is wrong with this picture? Aren't close friends supposed to invite one another to their parties? Wouldn't you expect friends, who you grew up with (12 years to be exact), to invite you to their parties? This is sad. I'm upset, but I'm more baffled then I am upset. |

| I can't believe it's over! |
[Jun. 23rd, 2004|09:59 pm] |
|
High School has come to an end, and I'm relieved as well as sad. I won't see any of the friends I grew up with..Things won't be the same. I thought I would cry hard, but I just couldn't because I had so much fun at both the graduation and Project Graduation. Yeah, as Bill said, our graduation was horrible because of flying palm trees and beach balls. It was very hot in the gym, but we managed. The bus never showed up for Project Grad., so I went with Chris Nugnes, Bill, and Matt Ford. Our ride there was funny because all Bill was talking about was about Danielle Fenzlein and Cynthia. Damn Bill, you are crazy. First thing, when I got to Project Grad was play basketball with Stan, Mudar, Nugnes, Bill, Obardo, Lorenzo, and Wozney. We won the game, so I just went and started hanging out with Chris and Kelly. I actually used up 3 disposable cameras at Project Grad, so I'm excited to get the photos back. As soon as I get it back, I'll post it on the LJ. The flying money thing was extremely fun and I won $6 in Wendy's gift certificates!! AHHHH! Then Eve and Mariela asked me to be in there Flip Card thing and it came out pretty well. I was trying to make Chris and Stan do a music video, but Chris was reconsidering and Stan didn't wanna do California Girls by the Beach Boys. I hate you two!! Haha. I also had a T-shirt made for me which had Jub written on the top and a picture of a guitar under it. I also had a caricature drawn, and it looked more like my brother than it did of me. The hypnotist was crazy and I knew for a fact that Jaime and Phylicia were hypnotized. After Project Grad, Matt Ford, Bill, Nugnes, and I went to Dunkin' Donuts and Bill, being the idiot he is, threw a $2.50 worth strawberry milk on the floor and broke it. Oh Bill, I will miss you. Lol. Project Grad was so fun and I wished it would never end. Congrats to all the seniors! Hope we can keep in touch! |

| It's only 11:20 PM....feels like 12:00 |
[Jun. 8th, 2004|11:24 pm] |
Today I played ball with my brother, Pat, and Marko. I just have to say that I am so out of shape. I gotta wake up tomorrow morning and go to Food Town to buy cranberry juice for the NHS party. Yuch also hooked me up with food before he went to the fashion show meeting. Right now, I'm watching the Lakers vs. Pistons game and the Pistons are giving them a challenge. I guess there's nothing much to say...Peace

| The Prom was great! |
[Jun. 4th, 2004|02:45 am] |
|
I know it's 2:45 AM and I'll be the first person to talk about the prom. Well, the prom itself was great. First, I went to Chris's house where I met up with the crew (Chris, Sabrina, Jackie, Jeff, Kelly Hess, and Scott). I was supposed to bring Mariela, but she was doing her nails and hair at the last minute. I was really pissed because she took such a long time and the crew went without me. So I reached the Manor of West Orange (with Mariela) at 7:15 and I was amazed at the beauty of the manor. We took like thousands of pictures so I'll try to post them up ASAP. All the ladies at the prom looked beautiful, especially Kelly and Jackie who were drop dead gorgeous. Throughout the night, I mostly danced with Eve. Eve is a crazy dancer and I had so much fun with her. Mariela didn't wanna dance so Eve and I danced mostly to techno beats. I know I am a bad dancer, but I had fun. I got extremely excited when the DJ played Tipsy...I was going wild! At our table was Chris, Sabrina, Jackie, Jeff, Scott, Kelly, Mariela, Terence, Jovanne, and myself. The dinner wasn't that great because they gave us medium rare beef which wasn't all that bad but the dessert was really good. It looked like all the Jeevios were enjoying it, especially Bill. Yuch and I danced to one techno beat and it was crazy. Damn Yuch, you got moves son...I wanna be just like you. I think one of the cutest couples were Obardo and Karla. They looked really good together. We finally ended off the night with Millie's song dedication, "The Graduation Song by Vitamin C". It was especially sad because we formed a circle and were just hugging each other. I loved the prom, and I wished it wouldn't end so soon! Damn, I'm going to miss all your guys! Love you guys... |

| Prom is tomorrow... |
[Jun. 2nd, 2004|10:10 pm] |
Prom is tomorrow and I'm ready! I went with Chris to get my tuxedo and to buy a crosage for Mariela. I spent $120 for the tuxedo and $18 for the crosage. I bought her a pink rose crosage with silver and pink ribbons. Hopefully, she'll like it. Then we went to Dunkin' Donuts and bought some Coolatas where this Indian guy was grillin' me. So tomorrow I'm going with Kohler to get a haircut (no homo). I'll write back tomorrow..Later

| What can I say....? |
[May. 28th, 2004|12:51 pm] |
What can I say, the MRHS concert was good as usual. The band did great, the choir did great. A typical MRHS concert. I've had a fun time performing with everyone in band.
Kris A.: You the man. Nasty at keyboard. Hope you become a music teacher.
Jackie H.: Very good guitar player. We had so much fun in the last 2 concerts.
Terence: Solo was great. Now it's time for a rest, rest, rest.
Whitman: Crazy Train on keyboard? You would always get the band all fired up.
Don Ryan: Fellow bassist! It's up to you next year to lead the MRHS bassist! I know you can do it because you are nasty. I'll be coming to watch you next year during the winter and spring concert.
Evelin: What can I say? You pulled off Godfather with ease. You made that Italian woman cry! What more can you ask for?
Jeff F.: Walner is gone. It's up to you, Derek, and Justin to step up. You guys are already nasty.
Danielle: Keep up the good work. I'll put in good word for you to Lilore. Don't be surprised if you get a solo next year. ;) |

| I don't want the hamsters anymore.. |
[May. 22nd, 2004|08:38 am] |
|
Over 6 hamsters have died so far, 1 being natural and the others through murder. Today morning, around maybe 5:00 am, my brother was looking at the hamsters while he saw the mother, Cutie, smother one of her babies to death. My brother was trying to wake me up because he didn't know what to do. I was being a lazy ass and I didn't do anything because I was so tired. By the time I woke up, the hamsters has eaten basically his whole body, including the head. There was enough food in the food dish and I had no clue why the hamsters would eat this one...I really want to get rid of the hamsters. I just think of them as a hindrance now. If no one is willing to take them, I guess I'm just going to let them loose into my backyard. Later... |

| It's been a long time! |
[May. 20th, 2004|09:52 pm] |
I know I haven't updated the LJ in a long time but I just wanted to tell you guys how the Top 20 Scholars reception went. The Top 20 reception was a success. My speech was mad improvised but I had fun. All the other speeches were very good. Manny's speech was probably the most "professional". He sounded like a president. Stan's speech was funny because he dissed on Hoffman's basketball skills. Chris's speech made me teary eyed and made me realize how teachers play a vital part in our lives. Anthony K. honored Ed and he put his speech pretty well. Kelly's speech and Jackie's speech were pretty crazy, especially Kelly's because she honored Madame Sanchirico and she was my second pick for inspirational teacher. Kerrie and Mary Beth both honored Mrs. Friedman and Mary Beth's imitation of Friedman really made me laugh. In conclusion, the whole reception was very well organized and I love all of you guys!

| Ahh AP exams! |
[May. 3rd, 2004|09:32 pm] |
Ahh! Tomorrow I have 2 AP exams. First I have AP Computer Science then I have AP Stats. I didn't study one bit but I do have some good news! I gave 2 of the baby hamsters to Obardo and I think the mother hates me now because she knows I took some of her babies. I also called Scuffy's Pet Store in Preakness Mall and they said they would take all the hamsters after they become 6 weeks old. I might as well just give up all the hamsters because I'm going to college in a few months anyway and I won't have time to take care of them. Later

| The hamsters are on the lam! |
[Apr. 26th, 2004|09:49 pm] |
|
Yesterday, Cutie, the mother of 11 adorable hamsters, tried to escape out of the cage and was successful. She was stuck between the dresser and the wall so she couldn't move. I knew I heard something fall so I went and saw her stuck! I yanked her out of the tight space and put her back on the cage. She is currently still trying to escape. Just about 5 minutes ago, my male hamster, Champ(the possible father of the babies), was sitting at the entrance of the front door! My dad hates the hamsters and he spotted Champ! So I picked him up and plunged him back into the cage.. Lol, plunge. Now how did Champ travel so far and escape? Champ's hamster wheel was stuck because he put the Koosh ball on the wheel. The tank has no top so it climbed up and jumped off and started his little journey. My dad finally admitted that the hamster was pretty cute :). That was the most adorable thing I have ever seen. Champ is so cute. Cutie is cute also. I love my hamsters, but too bad I have to give them up before I go off to college. :( |

| What is Beauty? |
[Apr. 19th, 2004|09:32 pm] |
What really is beauty? What makes people distinguish the beautiful and not so beautiful? Is there a part of the brain that helps us differentiate between the hot and not so hot? Society might play a part, but what makes them think that one is more beautiful than the other?
Tell me your opinions... |

| How to use a spoon |
[Apr. 16th, 2004|10:16 pm] |
Today as I was cleaning out the hamster tank, I came across a problem. Taking the mother out was a breeze, but taking out the 11 babies were very hard. I didn't want to hold them because I was too scared if they would die because of my strong grip. Then I remembered the words of the great Obardo, "Use a spoon to get the baby hamsters out.." So I used the spoon and plunged it into the hamster tank, and stupid as it may seem, it worked! The hamster tank is clean now! Does anybody want a hamster?
